If grooveDNA doesn't meet your needs, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
Eligibility
Refund window
You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase date. After 14 days, all sales are final.
No questions asked
We don't require you to explain why you're requesting a refund. If the software doesn't work for you, that's reason enough.
Evaluation before purchase
grooveDNA is available for a 60-day evaluation period before purchase. We encourage you to test the software thoroughly to ensure it meets your needs before buying a license. The evaluation version has no functional limitations during the 60-day period.
Refund process
- Email us at refunds@enzymetech.io from the email address used for purchase
- Include your order details: Order number (from Paddle receipt), purchase date, and email used for purchase
- We'll process your refund within 2-3 business days
- Refund appears in your account within 5-10 business days depending on your payment method

- Order number or receipt from Paddle
- Email address used for purchase
- Confirmation that you're requesting a refund (no explanation needed)
What happens after refund
Once we process your refund:
- Your license key will be deactivated
- You'll no longer be able to use grooveDNA
- You should uninstall the software from your systems
- You'll receive a confirmation email when the refund is processed
Refund method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. If you paid with a credit card, the refund goes back to that card. PayPal refunds go back to your PayPal account.
Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider, but typically takes 5-10 business days to appear in your account.
Exceptions
After 14 days
Refunds are not available after the 14-day window. We provide a 60-day evaluation period with full functionality so you can determine if the software meets your needs before purchasing.
Multiple purchases
If you've purchased multiple licenses (for example, for a studio or team), each license has its own 14-day refund window from the date of purchase.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank instead of requesting a refund through us, your license will be immediately terminated. We honor our refund policy—please use it instead of forcing a chargeback.
Technical issues
Problems with the software
If you're experiencing technical issues, please email support@enzymetech.io before requesting a refund. We can often resolve technical problems quickly.
Compatibility
grooveDNA requires macOS 10.11+ or Windows 8+, and supports VST3/AU formats. If the software doesn't work in your environment, you're eligible for a full refund within the 14-day window.
Upgrades and updates
Version upgrades
If you purchase an upgrade to a new major version (e.g., from 1.x to 2.0), the upgrade purchase has its own 14-day refund window. We'll refund the upgrade cost, and you can continue using your previous version.
Updates within version
Minor updates and bug fixes within your major version (e.g., 1.0 to 1.1) are free and don't affect your refund eligibility, which is based on your original purchase date.

Our philosophy: We built grooveDNA to solve real production problems. If it doesn't solve yours, you shouldn't have to pay for it. The 60-day evaluation period lets you test everything thoroughly before buying, and the 14-day refund window gives you additional confidence.
We'd rather have users who find the software genuinely useful than users who feel trapped by a purchase.
