Summary: grooveDNA is not free software. Download and evaluate it fully for 60 days with no limitations. To continue using beyond the evaluation period, purchase a license. One license covers all your machines. No DRM restrictions. Don't redistribute the software or your license key.

License agreement

By downloading, installing, or using grooveDNA, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the software.

Evaluation period

grooveDNA is available for evaluation for 60 days with no functional restrictions. The evaluation version is identical to the licensed version. You may use the evaluation version to determine if the software meets your needs.

To continue using beyond the 60-day evaluation period, you must purchase a license. We trust users to act honestly.

Ownership

Enzyme Technologies LLC retains all intellectual property rights to grooveDNA. Your license grants you usage rights but doesn't transfer ownership of the software.

Pricing and payment

License pricing

grooveDNA is offered at $59 USD per user license. This is a one-time payment with no recurring charges or subscriptions.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle handles all payment methods, currencies, and tax calculations. Your receipt and invoice will come from Paddle.

Taxes

Prices are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, VAT, or other local taxes, which will be calculated at checkout based on your location.

Delivery and activation

License delivery

After purchase, your license key will be sent to the email address you provided. Delivery is typically immediate but may take up to 24 hours.

Activation

Activation requires a one-time internet connection to verify your license key. After activation, the software works offline indefinitely. You can activate grooveDNA on all your machines using the same license key.

Lost licenses

If you lose your license key, email us at support@enzymetech.io from the email address used for purchase, and we'll resend it.

Updates and support

Updates

Your license includes free updates for your major version (e.g., all 1.x releases). Major version upgrades (e.g., 2.0) may require a paid upgrade at our discretion. We'll announce upgrade pricing in advance.

Support

Email support is provided at support@enzymetech.io. We respond to technical questions and bug reports. Support is provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed response time.

Documentation

Documentation is available on our website. We maintain technical documentation for all features but don't provide tutorials or production advice beyond what's documented.

Warranties and liability

Disclaimer of warranties

grooveDNA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don't warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

We've tested grooveDNA extensively, but software is complex and may contain bugs. We'll fix issues as they're discovered, but we can't guarantee perfect operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enzyme Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use grooveDNA.

Our total liability for any claims related to grooveDNA shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Enzyme Technologies LLC from any claims arising from your use of grooveDNA or violation of these terms.

Content and usage

Groove templates

grooveDNA includes groove templates inspired by hardware timing characteristics. These templates are provided for creative use. You own all grooves you create using grooveDNA and may use them in your productions without restriction.

Commercial use

You may use grooveDNA in commercial productions. Grooves created with grooveDNA are yours to use, sell, or license as you see fit. No royalties or attribution required.

Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights terminate automatically if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease using grooveDNA and delete all copies.

We reserve the right to revoke licenses obtained fraudulently or in violation of these terms.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms as our software evolves. Changes won't affect licenses already purchased. We'll notify users of significant changes via email or website announcement.

Continued use of grooveDNA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Enzyme Technologies LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Miscellaneous

Entire agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Enzyme Technologies LLC regarding grooveDNA, superseding any prior agreements or communications.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

No waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms doesn't constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
